We schedule you for installation once the appropriate products and services (hardware, software, and Internet access) are available. We pre-configure your system(s) in our laboratory, including hardware checkout and installation, and operating system installation and hardening. Application software is installed with a basic configuration. This allows us to take advantage of the wide array of tools available in our lab to thoroughly check your system out prior to integrating it into your existing environment and to minimize the impact to your on-going operations.
Once the pre-configuration is complete, we integrate the system into your existing environment, complete the configuration process, and perform the appropriate tests to ensure it satisfies your requirements. We test the securityyour system using Symantec's NetRecon network security probe, in addition to various utilities (netcat, ping, dig, nmap, etc). We also provide your administrator with basic familiarization training on how to maintain and support the installed system and deliver a report which documents the services performed and the tests conducted.
